Founded in 2017, the French Biomass Boiler Manufacturers Association (SFCB) is the professional organisation representing biomass boiler manufacturers and importers in France. Bringing together 14 companies accounting for over 80% of the French market, SFCB promotes the development of wood-based central heating solutions across residential, commercial and public buildings. Its mission is to support efficient, affordable and sustainable heating technologies while contributing to the development of public energy policies. Committed to decarbonising the heating sector and promoting the sustainable use of forest resources, SFCB advocates for appropriate public support mechanisms, the replacement of outdated heating systems and improved installation standards. Through its activities, the association contributes to France’s energy transition, energy independence and the wider recognition of biomass heating solutions.

The European Wood Energy Summit is an event being held for the first time in Paris on 10 and 11 February 2027. It aims to facilitate a debate on the role of wood energy in the European energy mix, bringing together all stakeholders with an interest in this discussion over the course of two days.
